2018 Sept 22 – 401 Auction Domains

Pretty big auction day today. Even the initial auction lists are getting noticeably bigger the last week or so. My guess is that with expired domains going to auction 35 days after expiration that these uptick in auction domains is a result of the original registrations taking place as things started to pick up at the end of summer in previous years (when each domain was initially registered by their original owners. Anyhow .. I need some sleep before work .. have a great weekend everyone! 🙂

2018 Sept 21 – 342 Auction Domains

Another rather average day like yesterday. I’ve been super tired lately so that’s definitely part of it as it’s harder to concentrate on scrolling through thousands of names when all you want to do is pass out and sleep. Also another day with a huge number of “traffic” domains (vast majority of which I didn’t post). Definitely take the time to check out multiple sources for the stats of any domain you’re possibly interested in.

I’m working later today (tomorrow in my mind), so posting now so I can sleep in a bit. Have a good end to your weeks everyone! 🙂

2018 Sept 20 – 321 Auction Domains

Yesterday was a great day for auctions in terms of names .. today by comparison is a little underwhelming. Maybe it’s also because I’m a little tired and didn’t go as deep into today’s domains as I usually do? But some days are just better than others.

In a funny bit of timing, there was a significantly higher number of “traffic” domains today. With that I’ll stress again that my lists are intended as a tool and starting point to bring awareness to notable and interesting domains at auction. I can’t stress enough that some of them should not be registered as a domainer, then for other domains it still depends on the price.

The information and data shared are NOT certified in any way. There are many steps in my process and there’s always a small chance that: I copy/pasted wrong; that my file got corrupted; that the original data was wrong; that the original data was tricked. If the statistics provided are an important part of your reasons for buying a domain then is up to you to do your own research to make sure everything is accurate, and that the domain has enough resale value to justify your purchase.

I rarely buy domains based on traffic data. In fact, I rarely buy names based on most stats. I’m not going to say whether or not doing so is good or bad, however, do make sure you inform yourselves and learn about all the various data points of domains, and how they might or might not be reliable or not depending on the source.

2018 Sept 20 – 963 Closeout Domains

I posted a huge number of domains going to auction earlier today. A lot were taken, but there still are quite a few that made it to $11 closeout, which is why the list is much longer than usual.

I wanted to post the Closeouts earlier this evening, but was super tired all day and just crashed out until about an hour ago. Hopefully I’ll be a bit more productive tonight and tomorrow!

2018 Sept 19 – 436 Auction Domains

A serious great auction day today. Huge list with some solid names. I haven’t personally had my eyes on as many domains as I do today in several months. Definitely take your time to go through the full list today!

Also a larger number of domains with traffic than usual today. Although I didn’t really notice any unusual pattern and any particular niche out of the ordinary. With a couple of exceptions I rarely base my purchases on reported traffic and parking revenue as you can’t necessarily take them for granted that they will continue to generate traffic or revenue after you buy them. That being said .. I have been lucky a few times and had domains that brought me a very nice parking revenue stream for quite some time after purchase. But definitely if you see a domain name I tagged with “Traffic” and/or “Parking Revenue”, then click on the domain link to check out the specific numbers being reported, as well as do a little more research to see if that data makes sense to you.
