2020 Jul 09 – 655 Auction Domain Names

2020 Jul 06 – 652 Auction Domain Names

Still slugging away at some of the things I need ot do for my insurance. I’m almost done. So while it’s been a huge pain and drain on time for domaining and the daily lists, it feels good to be almost finished. The adjuster realised how much he was asking and actually gave me a little extention, so a lot of the stress was for nothing. Anyhow .. I didn’t go as deep as usual for today’s list because of lack of time, will be back on track in the next day or two.

I’ll be doing an unofficial Zoom social tomorrow late afternoon, and then the weekly industry social this Friday. Stay tuned for details.

2020 Jul 05 – 666 Auction Domain Names

I still have a bit more stuff to do for my condo insurances with regards to the flood and water leak (I’ve actually now had 6 separate water incidents over the last 18 years .. including 2 minor floods from outside), but after Monday or Tuesday it should finally all be submitted and all that will be left would be to see what gets accepted and how much they compensate me. I seriously can’t wait for all that to be over and I can start to focus a bit more.

In the meantime I had a zoom meeting with my work union yesterday, and based on my seniority number (about 180-190 out of about 700), i should be borderline to be among the 120 they keep for reopening on August 3rd. At this point I’m not really bothered either way as I’ll have some sort of compensation from the government Covid programs. But all this guessing and waiting is a really stressful and time-consuming with all the virtual meetings. Theoretically I might still have a job if about 60 people ahead of me are on sick leave, have medical conditions not compatible with Covid, or simply choose not to go back .. doubtful .. but possible. I’ll know by the end of the week. Either way I’m still an employee on paper until about the 20th .. after that I might officially be a “FULL TIME DOMAINER” .. lol

Also, think about a domain you might want to submit for auction at this week’s social (on Friday). Priority will be given to domains with no reserve.
