I’ve got to go see the doctor in the morning (in a few hours .. lol) for my knee. So posting today’s auctions now so I don’t have to worry about it when I get up. Was a pretty nice auction day for me yesterday a grabbed a couple good deals. Of the 111 domains I marked as “highlighted”, 99 were taken by the time the auctions ended (possibly more by closeout in the 12 hours since. I don’t usually pay attention to that ratio, but 99/111 seems rather high .. particularly since I think some people were still on holiday or at least celebrating Cyber Monday! lol
Speaking of Cyber Monday .. I looked around a bit for some interesting coupon codes as there are a small handful of domains I want to hand-reg (only about 1% of my portfolio are hand-regs .. lol), but there wasn’t anything worthwhile. The only ones of significant discount had a limit of 1 domain per person. In all honesty, I’m so behind on getting organised that I’m not going to bother opening an account at a registrar for just a single domain .. it’s almost guaranteed that I’m going to lose track of it by the following year when it’s time to renew. I got a single such $1 domain a year ago, and indeed almost forgot about it .. I only found it after logging in this year to see if there were good coupons .. a whole year went by and it disappeared from my master list at some point .. at least I found it in time to transfer it out .. lol
